Meet your new Coach

Tyler McIntyre

Two young men are practicing a self-defense move in a gym. One man is helping the other to practice an arm hold or choke hold on a padded training dummy. Both are wearing casual athletic clothing, including caps, and are focused on the training exercise.

I’ve spent nearly six years coaching clients of all ages, including people working through injuries. My training style is evidence‑based and fully personalized with a focus on building real strength, not chasing scale numbers or focusing on body‑image. I don’t believe you need to weigh yourself, track every calorie, or micromanage your life to be healthy. My mission is to help you become stronger, more capable, and more confident, while keeping the process simple and never overwhelming.

My background includes formal education in personal training, nutrition coaching, sports nutrition, and corrective exercise, which gives me a foundation for understanding how to coach real people with real bodies. I use that education to make your training clear, safe, and effective; everything we do has a purpose and is built around helping you move well and get stronger.

After several years coaching in a public gym setting I’ve seen how people can often feel watched, rushed, or overwhelmed in that type of environment. That’s why I operate out of my home gym — a quiet, intentionally designed space where you can train without noise, pressure, or distractions. Just you, your goals, and a coach who’s fully present.

Client Reviews

“I’ve now been training with Tyler for nearly 4 years, and one of the things I appreciate most is how he’s continuously adapted my workouts over time to help me keep progressing toward my goals through different stages of life.

Recently, I trained with him throughout my pregnancy up until 37 weeks, which I truly believe contributed to my overall health during pregnancy as well as my postpartum recovery. I resumed training with him around 3 or 4 months postpartum, and he has been instrumental in helping me rebuild my strength, especially my core, which felt incredibly weak after giving birth and now feels nearly fully restored…

I still have goals I’m working toward, but I’m confident I’ll reach them with Tyler’s support and guidance. I genuinely can’t recommend him highly enough.”

“As someone who has never really cared for working out, my personal training sessions with Tyler have been truly enjoyable and they have really helped me to increase my motivation.

He strikes exactly the right balance between pushing me to challenge myself and improve while always maintaining a relaxed vibe. I love his focus on functional training and thinking beyond working out for the sake of working out and instead thinking about how to improve your body's current and future capability.

He is both passionate and knowledgeable about wellness in a broad and comprehensive sense and connects his learnings to your goals in a meaningful way. If you're thinking about how to start or progress on your journey towards improved health, Tyler is exactly the right person to support you.”

“I’ve been working out with Tyler since my freshman year of high school. Now that I’m graduating, I have to part ways due to travel and education but if that weren’t the case, I’d still be training with him.

I highly recommend coming here. Over the years, I’ve seen major improvements, not just physically but mentally as well. You don’t just learn how to work out and do it safely, you learn a lot about yourself and how to stay disciplined. It’s more than just a workout for your body, it’s also a workout for your mind.

Tyler is incredibly open-minded and genuinely a great person. He’s one of the realest people I know. He doesn’t treat his clients like just clients he treats them like people. There have been days when I didn’t feel like showing up, but a few minutes into the session, I was always glad I did. It’s fun, engaging, and a great way to build a lasting routine.

I’ve learned so much here, lessons and skills I’ll carry with me for life. If you’re looking for a personal trainer for yourself or someone you care about, you won’t find anyone better than Tyler.”
